The DMN is dominant and focused on self-deprecation. And there is impaired switching from SN.

In the dissociative subtype of PTSD, the CEN and DMN inefficiently engage and disengage, and are somewhat hyperconnected leading to dissociation. The SN may inappropriately assign relevance to external or internal stimuli.
